Wesley   Please Sponsor My Vet Care
Wesley is a 2 year old boy who was turned into the animal shelter when his owner was deployed to Iraq. Not accustomed to the scary shelter environment, Wesley caught the sniffles and was in danger of being euthanized. Enter GSROC!

Missy
I've Had Training! I Need An Experienced Owner Please Foster Me!
Missy is a playful young girl who would love to shower you with kisses! She is approximately 18 month old and eager to please!

Sabrina   I'm Shy
We received and urgent request for help for Sabrina, a terrified 5 month old found wandering alone in the Mojave Desert. Sabrina will need time to come out of her shell as she has been traumatized by abandonment.

Jacob   I'm Recovering! Adult home needed
Jacob is a typical teenage shepherd, playful and silly. He's approximately 14 months old. His family is unable to keep him and they have asked us to help find Jacob a loving home.

Caressa   I love toys! Volunteer Favorite!
Caressa is the happiest, silliest girl we know! She loves toys! Caressa enjoys playing with other dogs her size or larger. She is two years old and has put some hard times behind her.

Pluto   I'm Special!
One look at Pluto will take your breath away. He is a stunning 18-24 month old male shepherd that was dumped at a public shelter. We have learned that he has hip issues, which is probably why he was tossed away like garbage.

Maggie   I donated blood to a police K9! No cats or small dogs
Beautiful Maggie was dumped in a rural area after giving birth. She had obviously been well cared for but she was no longer wanted.

Mai Tai   I Need An Experienced Owner
Mai Tai is a 8 month old AKC puppy who has a big personality! She is very sassy and probably will be an alpha female. Mai Tai lost her home due to her owner's poor health.

Eddie   I Play Well With Others! I donated blood to a police K9!
Eddie is a 3 year old female who was found at a So. Cal Edison plant; a kind employee asked for our help for this mid-sized girl. Eddie is a very friendly and active girl with a short, shiny coat.

Connor   Faithful and Appreciative Please Foster Me! I have special needs
Connor is as handsome as they get! He is a 1 year old coated male, with a friendly personality.

These dogs are all looking for somewhere to call home.

The dogs featured on our web pages are available for adoption on first come first serve basis. We do not guarantee that animals seen on our web page will be available to adopt when you arrive at any of our adoption events. GSROC does not reserve dogs for adoption by telephone or e-mail. You must submit an application to adopt a German Shepherd.

Adopting a German Shepherd is a serious commitment of up to 10-15 years and requires a lot of planning. As long as you understand and accept the consequences of bringing home a German Shepherd, please feel free to browse our listings. They are updated on a daily, or weekly basis. All dogs listed are spayed or neutered, and they are all up-to-date on their vaccinations.

You can also learn more about the breed in our GSROC Resource Center.
