LeeAnn was slated to be put to sleep at an overcrowded animal shelter by no fault of her own. We rushed in to save her on her last day. When you look at LeeAnn, it's obvious that she comes from German or Czech Shepherd working lines. She has a small, compact body and a sleek sable coat. LeeAnn will not grow beyond 65 pounds---she's solid. LeeAnn needs a gentle and quiet home with no kitties. She would prefer to be the only dog to have your affection because she is very sensitive. However, she does get along with other dogs if properly introduced. We think that LeeAnn would do very well in some sort of directed activity, such as herding or agilty as she has a very bright mind. She is a "velcro" dog that likes to be with you at all times. LeeAnn would be wonderful for a single person or a retired couple who want a dog that can soak up all of the love they have to give! We can't say enough wonderful things about our special girl.
Maybe you are not ready to adopt at this time---please consider sponsoring a shepherd like LeeAnn who needs you.
