Ollie is a strikingly good looking and confident German Shepherd boy. At 5 1/2 yrs. old he wants to explore the world around him and take in all the sites and smells he can. Ollie was owned by a man who decided to leave the country and never return. He gave Ollie to his nephew. After almost 2 years of devotion, that’s the thanks he gets?? Well, the nephew was not equipped to care for Ollie as well. Shortly after he got Ollie, the nephew had to move into an apartment. You know the drill, small apartment, no large dogs allowed. The next thing Ollie knew was that he was standing in the lobby of a scary animal shelter, where his fate was definitely uncertain. Luckily for Ollie, the shelter staff works with German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County. They gave the nephew one of our volunteer’s phone numbers. Ollie was very fortunate that he did not have to spend one night in that scary shelter.
Ollie is now safe with us. He is not going to be discarded again. We promised him that.
Ollie is a very handsome, black & light tan, brindle colored German Shepherd boy. He is smart and confident. Because of his personality, Ollie must be in an adults only home. Ollie interacts really well with very small dogs, and friendly large dogs.
Ollie is somewhat stubborn, so he is looking for a patient, dedicated, confident, and experienced shepherd person who can teach him that good behavior is rewarded with love and security. We are asking a $300 adoption donation for Ollie plus $25 donation for microchip fee.
