What a story these puppies have to tell! Their mother, Ginger was part of the Lancaster Lovables group – a group of dogs living in a puppy mill discovered by law enforcement during a drug bust! The dogs were taken to the county shelter and many of them were adopted by the general public. The man that adopted Ginger was unaware that she was pregnant. However, 2 days later, he discovered this was not the case and called GSROC for help! Could we say no? Of course not.
Fast foward……Ginger was picked up by our volunteer to be taken to the vet for a check up before going to her GSROC foster home. Well, that was good planning – because Ginger went into labor in our volunteer’s car!! 4 healthy puppies were delivered.
These puppies are now known as our Wild West Litter.
Calamity Jane is a 10 week old little girl, full of fun and energy. She is cute, cuddly and so sweet.
However, please remember – puppies are an investment in time and training. Puppies chew, dig and get into all sorts of mischief. Training is mandatory for them to learn their doggy manners and correct behavior. If you are unable to make this commitment – please consider an older dog.
