Carter is a young female who is part of the Lancaster Lovables, a group of dogs GSROC rescued from a puppy mill. We believe she is approximately 2 years old based on her behavior and our vet’s assessment. She rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and has gets along well with the other big dogs in her foster home.
Carter has been de-barked, like some of the other dogs in the Lancaster Lovable group. However, Carter is still able to let you know how much she likes you by leaning against your leg and batting her big eyes your way.
Carter continues to become more and more puppyish. She zips around her home – she has lots of puppy energy. Carter really likes her Nylabone chew toy. She does fine when she is left home alone and does not show separation anxiety. She sleeps in her crate every night and is fine until morning when she goes on a walk with the other dogs in her foster home.
