There are many ways that you can help the organization apart from giving one of our Precious dogs a home. Here are some of them. 7 Simple Things You Can Do To Help A Homeless German Shepherd 1) Donate your time! Volunteer on the weekends to attend adoption events so that the dogs can go out and meet prospective adopters. 2) Hold a garage sale or bake sale and donate the proceeds to Southern California German Shepherd Dog Rescue. We rely entirely on donations so every dollar helps! 3) Sponsor a rescued dog who has no one to care for it. Boarding costs of $80 per week can be offset with your generous donations. Your donation is tax deductible. 4) Ask your place of business to match monetary donations made to Southern California German Shepherd Dog Rescue so that we can help TWICE as many dogs! 5) When buying gifts for yourself or your friends, choose Southern California German Shepherd Dog Rescue merchandise. Every purchase helps a dog in need! 6) Donate used items that can be sold on Ebay to benefit the dogs! Your donation is tax deductible. 7) Educate your friends, neighbors and family members about the terrible pet overpopulation that costs millions of loving animals their lives every year because there are not enough homes for them all.
