Dogs that need URGENT help:
Some of our dogs need urgent medical attention. Most of the time, a decision to save a dog's life comes down to our ability to pay for his or her medical care and rising vet bills. Other dogs desperately need a foster home while they are recovering. Can you help us?

Connor  I Need A Hero.     I have special needs
One year old Connor was diagnosed with mega-esophagus, a birth defect that requires a very special feeding routine. He is a loving and gentle dog who loves other dogs!

Judie  I'm Recovering!     I have special needs
Judie came in as an urgent case. She escaped her yard on July 4 and in her panic, she caught her leg in a fence. Her leg had to be removed and her owners could not afford this.

Brody  Please Sponsor My Vet Care   Please Foster Me!   I have special needs
One of our shelter partners contacted us about a 1 year old dog who was in obvious pain. Brody has been diagnosed with a serious bone infection that causes him to hunch over and walk unevenly. The damage is permanent.

Dixie  Please Sponsor My Vet Care   Please Foster Me!
Poor Dixie has been the victim of neglect. Her skin is badly infected and her ear tips have been eaten away by biting flies. Dixie needs a sponsor to help with her vet costs.

Sedona  Please Sponsor My Vet Care   Please Foster Me!
Poor Sedona is no more than a baby herself, yet this sad 14 month old is already a momma. Sedona and her 4 puppies arrived from a crowded shelter--all with serious upper respiratory infections.

Little Timmy  Please Sponsor My Vet Care
Timmy is one of the smallest of Sedona's puppies. He has been in and out of the hospital with lethargy and upper respiratory issues. Timmy is being bottle fed by our wonderful volunteers.

SPECIAL ATTENTION

Every now and then we get special cases that need extreme medical attention due to abuse, starvation, beatings, neglect or other horrific things.

In these Urgent Need cases, like Justice and Willow shown above, we ask for your help in the form of a monetary donation in a specific dogs name. You can click on the DONATE button in the top menu, and mention his or her name to make sure that your donation is spent on the dog of your choice.

All of our Special Need cases are URGENT and need attention immediately. We thank you for considering helping a specific dog. Any gift matters.
