Alex is a gorgeous silver sable guy with tons of potential. His coloring makes him look like he was dipped in platinum, and his coat glistens with good care. Alex is energetic and a little silly at times. He would love an active environment and possibly a friendly dog his own size to play with. (However, Alex requests no kitties, please, as he thinks those are fast toys with fur.) He’s a dog that you would be proud to walk down the street, and one that is certain to turn heads.
Alex will fill out to be a robust and solid adult, probably tipping the scales around 90-95 when he’s full grown and muscular. He would make a great dog for an active individual or family and he will require plenty of stimulation to keep his intelligent mind busy. Ales is the type of dog that will do very well in formal obedience training because he wants to please—he just doesn’t know what the rules are yet. Gentle leadership and a stable routine are the keys to getting the most out of this big fella.

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.
This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.
All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
