Ava is a beautiful husky mix with a gentle soul and a playful bounce in her step. Ava lost her family, so needs to relearn that the world is a safe place. She can be a little nervous at first—but with a little time, kindness, and a calm environment, Ava begins to show her sweet and silly side.
She loves the company of friendly, well-mannered dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine buddy to help her build confidence. Around people, Ava is gentle and does well with respectful children. Once she feels comfortable, she shows off her playful side—sometimes bouncing around like a puppy discovering joy for the first time.
Ava is housebroken and currently working on decompressing at her own pace. She needs a home that can offer patience, routine, and a space where she can truly relax and feel safe. A family that understands the value of going slow and letting Ava open up in her own time will be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.
This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.
All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
