Bovi is about 2 years old and has a super soft, thick coat. He was rescued from an over crowded animal shelter where his time was quickly running out. We are always amazed at the number of magnificent looking shepherds that find themselves in shelters.

Bovi knows some basic commands, including, “sit” and “down.” He is house trained and bonds well with his person.

Bovi loves to just play, play, play — like the true “teenager” that he is. When in the compay of other friendly dogs, Bovi is the one to initiate play time. He would benefit from lots of dog socialization (e.g. the dog park) to learn the rules of proper play etiquette.

Bovi has been introduced to a lot of people, big and small and he did very well with everyone. Because of Bovi’s sensitive nature and his ability to create a strong bond with his family, we are seeking a family where someone is home most of the day.

Adoption Donation

  • Adult GSDs: $395
  • Purebred GSD Puppies: $495
  • Mixed GSD Puppies: $395
  • Special Senior-to-Senior Adoptions: $295
This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
