Bullwinkle

Age: 10 months
Gender: male
This is Bullwinkle. He is a silly, klutzy and adorable 10 month old boy with a head that is too big for his body.

Bullwinkle was running loose without tags, so at a very tender age, he found himself in a cage at a noisy, scary animal shelter. Days passed into weeks but nobody came to claim this silly, friendly boy. When his time was finally “up”, German Shepherd Rescue could not bear to see his young life extinguished. When a volunteer took him home to be fostered, he rolled and romped in the grass with joy.

Cute and silly now, Bullwinkle will be a strikingly handsome fellow once his body catches up to his head. Still very much a puppy at ten months old, he loves to dig, chew, and play. We think he’s got Great Dane or possibly dobie in his family tree, but it could be moose. The family who invests their time and love into this puppy will be rewarded with a fine companion for many years to come.

2/8/06 UPDATE
Our Bullwinkle boy is doing very well in a private training class with one of OC’s best known behaviorists. Bullwinkle has caught on very quickly and has mastered his commands and even a few tricks!

Bullwinkle is in boarding. Please fill out the online application first and contact dforsyth@socal.rr.com if you would like to meet him.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
