Captain is a one-in-a-million dog. We get many really great dogs in our rescue, but Captain right up there with the best. He makes excellent eye contact, knows his basic manners, waits patiently for commands and loves affection. He is strong on a leash, but not unbridled. He is a super athlete, ready for a home with someone active and attentive. This dog has way too much potential to be left in a back yard, or left at home all day to await his family’s return. Captain also happens to be a drop dead gorgeous Belgian Malinois.

He was found by Good Samaritans and all efforts to find his original family have failed. Someone lost a very, very nice dog so we are determined to ensure that his next home will cherish him.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
