10 year old Deybo is suffering and needs our help. He hips are in terrible shape and he can has difficulty walking. He needs a sling to walk. He is emaciated and is fighting several infections. Due to his poor nutritional state, his road to recovery will be very difficult.
He is making daily improvement thanks to K-laser treatments, medication, and recent neutering. We are awaiting biopsy results on tumor. He surprised the vet by getting up and walking over to him–we didn’t think he had the strength but he proved us wrong. Very nice dog with gentle personality. Looking for a hospice home for whatever time he has left.
When GSROC was asked to help him, our hearts broke when we heard his story. Our financial piggy bank is empty but we couldn’t leave this dog in his suffering. We have taken him to our vet for treatment. He is now receiving IV fluids and special nutrition to start. He needs additional testing to determine the other issues that must be dealt with. His intestines are inflamed and he has a serious urinary tract infection as well.
UPDATE: JULY, 2020
Thanks to our supporters and our vet, Deybo is making great progress. He has been altered and the tumor removed. His infections are still being treated and witht eh help of K-laser treatments he is beginning to walk on his own! Deybo is still at our vet and in the need of sponsors to help with his ongoing K-laser treatments and special diet. He is too weak to leave the vet but is hoping that soon he will be able to recover in a foster home.

Home Visit Prior to any dog going home, we do require a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe and secure. Once your home has been approved, the adoption can move forward.
Adoption Donation Our adoption donation is minimum $350.00 plus $25.00 for microchip for adult dogs and $450 plus $25.00 microchip for puppies 1 year and under. This donation is tax deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog's care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.
All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
