Emma is approximately 4 years old and has an adorable expression on her face at all times. She has a super soft coat and she has clearly been well fed (very clearly!) so we suspect that she was someone’s much loved dog at one time–possibly and elderly person’s dog? She was in tight quarters in a shelter cage with 3 other large dogs and she got along very well with them, so we suspect that she would enjoy a companion. Emma loves to lean on you and give a paw. She could use some work on her leash manners, but she’s eager to please so a little encouragement will help her blossom.

Emma stole our rescuer’s heart because she looked so positively bewildered in her shelter cage–as if she couldn’t believe where she had ended up. Please help us make Emma’s dreams of a loving family come true.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you may submit an application online or via fax. If you choose to send a fax, please download the Adoption Application here in PDF format; fill it out and sign it. You can fax it to us at 714-773-9430.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
