Isabella is "Bella" to her friends. This gentle and sweet 7 year old was found staggaring in traffic by a good samaritan. She is completely BLIND.

Adoption Application

When a kind animal lover pulled over to help a clearly disoriented and frightened dog in the middle of a busy intersection, NO ONE else stopped to help her. Instead, people sped by and honked their horns, as if they were irritated to be slowed down by a compassionate act! Thankfully, our good samaritan was not daunted, and despite being a small woman herself, she was able to lift frightened (and screaming) Bella into her car and transport her to safety. Only after getting Bella home and examined by a vet did we discover that she is completely BLIND. Can you imagine how terrified she must have been standing in heavy traffic? We are so grateful for this special person for intervening for sweet Bella.

Bella is approximately 7 years young and very sweet. She is housebroken, crate trained and good with other gentle dogs. Her finder says, “She is a gem!” We are desperately seeking a kind and calm foster home for her while she is looking for her forever home. Can you help to change this precious dog’s luck?

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
