Jyn’s puppies are all grown up and have been adopted.  Now that her motherhood duties have been completed, Jyn is ready to start her new life.   She is affectionate and snuggly.  Jyn bonds very quickly to her people and prefers to be with them as much as possible.  If you are looking for a constant companion – Jyn is the girl for you.

Jyn is a small girl but very athletic and strong.  We believe she has some malinois in her mix as she has lots of energy and loves to have a job.  Jyn bonds very quickly to her  people and becomes somewhat distressed when they are not around.   She prefers a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time.  She will do best with a patient and understanding family.  She is housebroken and gets along well with the dogs in her foster home.   She loves to romp and play in the yard.  She is a very young girl and has energy to burn.

Picked up as a stray, Jyn landed in a crowded, noisy,  high kill shelter.  As if that wasn’t bad enough…Jyn was pregnant and gave birth to 4 puppies!   Poor girl, she is very young and all she knew was she had to protect her babies from all the other noisy, barking dogs in that scary place.

Our hearts broke when we heard her story.  What choice did we have?  We could not leave her there, alone and defenseless.   We tightened our belts and made room for this little family in our lifeboat.   They are now in a GSROC foster home and Jyn is ready for adoption.

Adoption Application If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you may submit an application online or via fax. If you choose to send a fax, please download the Adoption Application here in PDF format; fill it out and sign it. You can fax it to us at 714-773-9430.

Home Visit Prior to any dog going home, we do require a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe and secure. Once your home has been approved, the adoption can move forward.

Adoption Donation Our adoption donation is minimum $350.00 plus $25.00 for microchip for adult dogs and $450 plus $25.00 microchip for puppies 1 year and under. This donation is tax deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog's care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
