Poor Kaiser had been a beloved pet in a family until he was tossed away like garbage when the family was expecting a baby. Kaiser tells us that he would have loved to have had a child to play with and look after…but he didn’t get the chance to prove what a wonderful guardian he could be.

At the animal shelter, Kaiser was attacked by another dog that he was thrown in a cage with. He was injured and GSROC was called in to help him when he had no other friends to turn to. We welcomed this sweet dog in and we have promised him that we’ll find him a home where he will never be discarded again.

Kaiser has recovered from his wounds & is ready to find his forever home.

We have gotten to know Kaiser better & have learned that he has a very sweet disposition.
He seems to get along well with dogs. He gets along well with children. He seems to be house broken (not 100% sure on this).
He is very playful…love’s to play ball and tug-a-war.
He has not been destructive in his foster home or yard. Kaiser walks well on a leash with a pinch collar. He knows some basis commands (“sit” and “down”). He would do well with additional training.
He is still a bit of a puppy in a big dog’s body.

To arrange to meet him, please complete the online application and then contact Berrysheetmetal@aol.com for more details.

Home Visit Prior to any dog going home, we do require a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe and secure. Once your home has been approved, the adoption can move forward.

Adoption Donation

  • Adult GSDs: $395
  • Purebred GSD Puppies: $495
  • Mixed GSD Puppies: $395
  • Special Senior-to-Senior Adoptions: $295
This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
