Karley is about 1 year old and gravely ill. She is in isolation with a very severe case of pneumonia. Our vet said he was pretty sure that this 1 year old would not have lasted another night at the shelter!

This girl was truly snatched from the jaws of Death. She also has a very severe case of mange and her hair is missing in large patches all along her back. Poor girl, she can barely breathe and is also in pain.

She needs xrays, IV treatments, costly antibiotics and isolation. All of those items cause her vet bill to be quite high. In addition, she will need medicated baths to help heal her skin.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
