2 year old Katie had been wandering alone and afraid until a kind animal lover brought her to safety. This friendly girl is looking forward to starting a new life. Her fur was so covered with foxtails, our vet said she needed an immediate hair cut.

Adoption Application

Katie was found wandering the streets in a residential neighborhood. She was thin and oh so thirsty in this heat! Kind animal lovers stepped in and tried to find her family. She had no microchip and no collar. When efforts to find her family were unsuccessful, GSROC was contacted.

This poor girl was covered with foxtails and our vet had to shave her coat to ensure they were all removed.

Katie is a friendly girl who likes people. She gets along with other large dogs, she has not yet been seen around small dogs or cats. Katie is always happy to see our volunteers and is eager to find a home and family of her very own.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
