Kelly landed in a very scary shelter at the tender age of 9 months. She cowered at the back of her run, overwhelmed by all of the noise, smells and cold cement.

Kelly landed in a very scary shelter at the tender age of 9 months. She cowered at the back of her run, overwhelmed by all of the noise, smells and cold cement. Our shelter scout was at the shelter to rescue a German Shepherd when she spotted Kelly alone and afraid. Although our rescue is full, we knew that Kelly would perish if left at the shelter.

Kelly is a very gentle creature looking for a calm, caring home without commotion. When she arrived at GSROC, she threw up an enormous piece of hard plastic that could have lodged in her intestine had it made its way down there. Kelly is going to make someone a loving companion.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
