Adoption Application

Kris had landed in a crowded shelter with no appealing options available. GSROC stepped in to offer him a better chance. He is at GSROC now and looking forward to starting a new life.

Kris is a sweet boy but still a bit shy with new people. He is easily startled by unusual or loud noises. He warms up to strangers who take their time to introduce themselves to him. He wants to be friends – he just needs a little while to relax.

He is getting along with the friendly large dogs we have introduced him to. He enjoyed going for a pack walk with some of our other large males. Kris likes to check out all the new smells at the park. He is ready to be your constant companion and will happily walk with you to the park if that is your inclination.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
