Looking for a handsome, happy, occasionally silly boy who will be your loyal companion? Look no further! Lucas is your guy! This beautiful all black shepherd pup was found roaming loose with no collar or tags, and every effort to find his owners has failed.

The family that is lucky enough to adopt Lucas will be getting a real gem. He loves other dogs & kids. He wants to learn and he tries very hard to please (sometimes, his teenage attention span is a little short, but what’s new?). He is housebroken and working on his leash manners.

Lucas is about 2 years old and is a beautiful medium sized shepherd. He’s the perfect age for a basic obedience class that will teach him the rules of good canine citizenship.

To arrange to meet Lucas, please complete the online application first and then contact Berrysheetmetal@aol.com for more details.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
