Luckey and his sister Luci, were rescued and brought to us all the way from Hong Kong! They are both 2 years old and in good health.

Adoption Application

Luckey, his sister Luci and their dad Choykoski were living in the compound of
a factory in a rural area in Hong Kong. When the owner of the factory died, the spouse decided to close the factory business and turn the dogs loose on the streets. A factory employee decided otherwise and started calling
around to see if there is any rescue groups or individual who would be willing to take in the
dogs. The employee called The Hong Kong Dog Rescue, who in turn, called our special volunteer couple who live in Hong Kong.

Luckey comes complete with his sister Luci. Unfortuantely, the dad “Choykoski” could not make it to USA, he died in boarding in Hong Kong due to bloating.

Luckey is a male German Shepherd, about 2 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.He has had all his blood work done, and has proven to be free of any heart worms, or ticks. He has also had his hips x-rayed and appears to be free of dysplasia at this point

A very sweet dog and super human friendly, and a little bit of a goof ball!

He seems to be able to get along with other female friendly dogs and probably friendly male dogs. Lucky is currently in a foster home with cats and he is doing very well.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
