Look who snuck into the German Shepherd Rescue! It’s Princess, a simply precious 4-month-old purebred Doberman baby. Princess was erroneously listed as a “hound dog mix” at a high kill shelter and no one was looking at her. She looked so sad and small in the shelter cage that we knew we could turn her life around.

Princess is petite and very sweet. She loves to bury her head in the crook of your arm. She loves to be told how pretty she is. Her coat is sleek with good care, so we can’t understand how she ended up overlooked at a public shelter. She still has baby teeth, so she is chewing pretty vigorously. Someone docked her tail, but she has natural ears. She met some young kittens face to face and was very sweet with them!

We are hoping for a home that has experience with this breed!

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
