What a looker Ricky is! As our rescuer liberated him from the animal shelter, people were remarking about how gorgeous this 2 year boy is!

Adoption Application

Ricky lost his home due to a divorce. He is understandably confused about losing the only family that he has ever known. Nevertheless, in true shepherd fashion, he is eager to bond with someone special–someone who will never allow him to be homeless ever again. Ricky lost his family, and they lost a very loving dog.

Ricky is a size XL boy (about 90 lb.) and just 2 years young. He has attractive, classic markings and the stance of a confident yet friendly dog. Ricky likes other friendly dogs, both large and small and even thinks horses are ok. He knows a few commands, like sit and shake. He is not good with cats, so he needs a feline free environment.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
