GSROC is helping Rusty as a Mission of Mercy. Rusty was found all alone in Watts, sitting on a bench that he couldn’t get down from. His little eyes are clouded over with cataracts and goop from infection, his body is tired and rickety, his toenails are in bad need of a trim. Rusty was destined to be taken to an overcrowded shelter where there is NO VET on staff, so he would have likely been euthanized. Our rescue is overly full, but we found a little spot where we can keep this tiny guy safe and well cared for. We need donations to help with his vetting: Vaccines, blood test, infection care, medications for his comfort. Can you find it in your heart to donate a bit for this deserving fellow? He must have seen so much in his lifetime–we can’t let him die afraid and unwanted.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
