Stitch was rescued on Memorial Day. A family saw him hunkered down in a rural area. They quickly discovered that he couldn't walk due to a badly broken rear leg. We suspect that he was hit by a car, as he was near a very busy highway.

Stitch was rescued on Memorial Day. A family saw him hunkered down in a rural area. They quickly discovered that he couldn’t walk due to a badly broken rear leg. We suspect that he was hit by a car, as he was near a very busy highway. An experienced team of field rescuers successfully trapped Stitch and rushed him to GSROC for treatment.

Xrays reveal a clean but severe break that will require surgery and significant after-care and recovery. We need to raise funds immediately so that Stitch can be treated right away. Can you donate any amount–large or small–to help little Stitch feel better?

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
