Stitch is a beautiful 2 year old blonde boy, who landed in a scary shelter when his owner could no longer keep him. It is obvious that someone took time with Stitch, as he is affectionate and gentle, but physically very strong.
He needs someone experienced in handling large, powerful dogs. Stitch likes to see himself as “large and in charge” at times when he is around other dogs. Training and structure will help Stitch understand what is expected of him.
Recently we introduced Stitch to some cats and he let us know, in no uncertain terms – he needs a feline free home. Cats are not one of his favorite animals. He also met some tortoises. Stitch wasn’t sure what type of animal a tortoise really was. Whenever they moved, he would bark and hide behind the legs of our volunteer.
Stitch likes to have fun and go for walks, he is always ready to have fun. Check out this video of his most recent outing.https://youtu.be/TxGhrmuoYVs
