Just look at this gorgeous guy !!! Stormy was the beloved and cherished family member to a woman who went into to have a standard procedure minor surgery. Something went wrong and she went into a coma…

Stormy was boarding at the vets office. Day after day, week after week, month after month Stormy waited for her to come for him… Stormy had been in boarding for almost a year when it became apparent that his person was never going to come for him as she was never going to wake up and does not have much longer.

A fellow rescuer who works at the vets office where Stormy was boarded contacted rescue and asked if we could help. Even though we are beyond full we just had to help this sweet and deserving boy find his happily ever after…

Stormy is a large GSD about 5 years old, fully vaccinated, neutered and has obedience training. He is a perfect gentleman in the car. Stormy is lovable, devoted and loves kids. He is a happy go lucky fellow who is good with other dogs and loves people.

After living in a cage for a year waiting for his family member to come, we think Stormy deserves the best home ever!!! Won’t you make Stormys dream come true?

Adoption Donation

  • Adult GSDs: $395
  • Purebred GSD Puppies: $495
  • Mixed GSD Puppies: $395
  • Special Senior-to-Senior Adoptions: $295
This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
