Teddi Bear - ADOPTED

Aren't I cute?No cats or small dogs

Teddi Bear is a cute 8 month old puppy who has been socialized in a GSROC foster home.   She loves to play with the other dogs in  her foster home.   However, small dogs are not for this girl. She tends to get a bit vocal when she gets excited while playing.  She is learned to control that.  Super fun and playful, she has a sweet personality and is one smart little girl!

Teddi Bear is crate trained and housebroken.  She walks easily on a leash.  She gets a bit nervous in crowds of strangers but her foster mom is working with her.  She has made great strides and continuation of training is a MUST for this girl.   She has the makings of a fabulous adult dog and with continued training she will develop into one.

She would love to be entered into some activity, such as scent work or agility.  She is crammed with puppy energy and so smart – she knows she will excel.   She is a confident girl, alert to her surroundings and likes to be aware of everything around her.

Puppies are always cute and cuddly – but they are not born with all the knowledge they need to develop into a wonderful adult. That is the job of the family that adopts him.  Training and structure are vital components of a puppy’s success.

Please remember, adopting a puppy is not everyone’s cup of tea.  As cute as they are – puppies demand a large investment of time, patience, and training.  They are inquisitive, have endless energy and get into just about everything.  They dig, chew, and seemingly never stop! Think long and hard about your lifestyle.

If you are not willing to invest the time and training to ensure your puppy matures into the wonderful dog – then please consider an older dog.

Adoption Application If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you may submit an application online or via fax. If you choose to send a fax, please download the Adoption Application here in PDF format; fill it out and sign it. You can fax it to us at 714-773-9430.

Home Visit Prior to any dog going home, we do require a home visit to ensure that your environment is safe and secure. Once your home has been approved, the adoption can move forward.

Adoption Donation Our adoption donation is minimum $350.00 plus $25.00 for microchip for adult dogs and $450 plus $25.00 microchip for puppies 1 year and under. This donation is tax deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog's care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
