This poor little guy was hours away from being euthanized at a shelter who is known for their high-kill ratio. Trooper is only 2 months old, and a true sweetheart!

Trooper is 2 months old, and sweet as pie. He was in a scary, high-kill shelter who euthanizes several animals on a daily basis, regardless of their age.

Fortunately, our volunteers tracked a long distance to rescue this kid, hours from him being destroyed.

Remember, puppies are a lot of work and a big committment. They are well worth it in the long run, but the first year or two can be both rewarding and trying!

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
