Fundraising Through Shopping

Donate to GSROC simply by purchasing everyday items from pet-friendly business affiliates.

German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming purebred German shepherd dogs who have no where else to turn. And the organization does an amazing job of doing just that.  In 2018, GSROC gladly  rehomed 330 dogs, but rescue on that level comes with high costs, both in human volunteer hours and, of course, money.

GSROC fundraises in myriad ways, through special events, bake sales, donations from private individuals and compassionate businesses, and more. However, the easiest and most simple way anyone can contribute is simply by doing everyday shopping—purchasing products from the organization’s animal-friendly business affiliates.

When you support these businesses with your dollars, a portion of your purchase is directed toward our dogs. GSROC encourages you to support their good work.

It’s important to note that the organization’s legal name is Association of German Shepherd Rescuers Inc. but is known by German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County. Some of our affiliates, like Amazon, use Association of German Shepherd Rescuers Inc. as our name. In order for the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County to receive a percentage of sales, you must  register with these affiliates. Ralph’s Grocery store requires participants to reregister every year in September.

Besides Amazon and Ralph’s, GSROC partners with I Give.com, Chewy.com, Doctors Foster and Smith, PetSmart and more. For a complete list of and links to affiliates and to register with them, click here.https://www.gsroc.org/affiliates/
