Huggy Bear At Queen’s Beach!
Sunday, Mar 03,2013

Hello everyone at GSROC. I thought I’d write since it’s been a while since I updated you guys on Huggy Bear. He is doing great. I think he is eating better food than I am now. We have spoiled him rotten, but we feel like he deserves no less. Today, Miyako and I took him on a walk near Queen’s Beach today and took the attached picture.

We are happy to report that we are coming up on our 4th year with Huggy Bear this April. It’s hard to remember what it was like before he came into our lives. I remember when Huggy first came to be part of our family. He always had a very serious face, and he never smiled. After the 3rd month or so, Huggy finally started to loosen up and we would catch a smile from him every now and then. Now, Huggy always has a smile on his face, and you would think it would bore you to see him always smiling, but the truth is, it never fails to make us smile as well.

Miyako and I still go to the GSROC web site and check up on how things are going. My wife and I are very grateful that GSROC is still doing good work for the dogs, and we are so glad when a dog that has had a rough life gets adopted to a very nice family. Thank you for making the world a better place.
