I just got back from a road trip with my boy and he was great. He and I went to the Yosemite area this past weekend and he was awesome. He stayed at a bed and breakfast and was a perfect guest, no barking and not at all destructive. He hiked around the park a little and also around the national forest. But his favorite thing was swimming at Bass Lake.
I’m just amazed at what a good dog he is, it’s hard to believe I haven’t even had him for two months. I don’t know what his story is, but whoever had him before did a great job with him and I’m really grateful to GSROC for saving this boy. I knew I would be a foster failure and I can’t imagine a better dog to fail with. Thanks for bringing him my way.
Attached are a couple of photos of the boy. I thought the one of him in Yosemite would be nice to post. BTW, he didn’t respond well to Chance so a friend of mine suggested Lakota, it means friendly people and it sure fits him. He swung his head right around when I called Lakota or Koti, so we decided that’s his name and nickname.
