A dog leg to the left, a dog leg to the right, and a three-legged dog at the center of attention drew golfers from LA and Orange County to the 2nd Annual GSROC “Drive For The Dogs” Golf Tournament! The golfers braved the blazing heat and challenging fairways on the course at Black Gold Golf Club to raise money for homeless dogs, like three-legged puppy Faith. Faith, Justice and Cisco were on hand to inspire the golfers on what seemed like the hottest day of the year. A delicious buffet dinner featuring Italian favorites, and a positively fabulous Silent Auction greeted golfers when they returned to the clubhouse. A spirited raffle featured prizes ranging from premium golf clubs, to an ipod, to “protective” golf club covers in the shape of German Shepherd heads! A great time was had by all!
While the final totals are not in yet, we are confident that we surpassed the amount earned during last year’s tournament, which was our overall goal. All proceeds from the tournament will be directed to our frightening
