Typically, our organization gets called upon to rescue one or two purebred white German Shepherds each month. White German Shepherds, while certainly not “rare”, are still not as common as black and tan shepherds, and in the past, we were not seeing them in large numbers in the shelters. All that changed this week when we were called in to rescue THREE white shepherds from one single shelter! When you add these three to the two that we already had in the rescue, we feel like we’ve been hit by a snow storm! If you have toyed with the idea of adopting a white shepherd, or you have had one in your family in the past, now is a great time to come and visit with our five snow bunnies to see if any of them is the perfect fit for your family.
