Alums came from as far away as San Ramon, Big Bear, San Diego and Los Angeles to be a part of the 2nd Annual GSROC-toberfest Reunion Event! The skies cleared and it was a wonderful, sunny day in the park for more than 100 dogs and their human companions! Guests were treated to the insights and expertise of renowned animal behaviorist Warren Eckstein, who shared amusing anecdotes and training wisdom. Other special guests included Courage, the inspirational survivor of deliberate starvation and his proud mommy, as well as Dr. Bill Grant, Dr. Dana Weidenkeller and Dr. Donald Earl. Dogs competed in a number of fun contests, and guests munched on homemade goodies and wandered through a wonderful selection of booths displaying great items.
It was a magical day and we loved seeing the smiles on all of the dogs faces! The volunteers look forward to this event all year long and were well rewarded this year!
