Last weekend, we had “all hands on deck” for the annual Pet Expo in Costa Mesa–a huge event that draws animal lovers from all over the Southland. This year, we were proud to sport our brand new booth design, and we got many compliments. Our volunteers proudly sported their “Best of Orange County” Tshirts, and our dogs donned their best orange bandannas. Meanwhile, our merchandise team was selling shepherd-themed gifts, apparel, and collectibles to raise funds to keep our dogs in kibble. Hercules, our honorary shepherd (really an injured Chihuahua) came out to show solidarity with his shepherd buddies. He almost stole the show in his orange polo shirt, but our shepherds attracted plenty of attention on their own. We enjoyed meeting so many shepherd enthusiasts and sharing each dog’s story.
