No, our volunteers were not singing rap songs at Barnes & Noble (but for the right tip, they might have!). Instead, they were helping busy shoppers prepare their holiday packages for the big day. We had a wonderful team of wrapping experts, accompanied by our ambassador dog, Zachary, doing his impression of Santa Paws. Zachary was assisted by a sidekick elf named Gypsy, who is still eagerly awaiting her forever home. Both the dogs and the volunteers enjoyed the festive atmosphere and bustling pace at the bookstore. We even got a visit from TV and radio personality “The Poorman” (known for authoring travel books for the budget conscious, and for hosting “Poorman’s Bikini Beach”), who couldn’t resist posing with our celebrity dogs! We are grateful to our volunteers who gave up spending time with their families so that our dogs could have this great PR opportunity!
