This beautiful creature is Jewel, a tall and stately 5 year old girl who longs to be someone’s constant companion. Jewel was rescued from a high kill shelter when her time was up. She is affectionate and loving and she would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company. Jewel is very sensitive and responds beautifully to praise and gentle guidance. She is housebroken and walks very nicely on a leash. We would love to find Jewel a home with a retired person or someone who works from home as we know that this would be her dream come true. She seems completely bewildered at being homeless and we want to take the worried look off her face once and for all!
