Cocoa was rescued from a ramshackle back yard where she had lived her entire life. She was so terrified that she had to be trapped in order to be saved. Cocoa had never known a human touch or a soft voice before she came to GSROC. Her family simply tossed food out for her and the other dogs and then closed the door.
Cocoa does not like to be petted, but she likes to be brushed. She would do best in an outdoor home that is not looking for a cuddler. Cocoa prefers to stay by herself and watch the activities around her. No other dogs, please.
We know that Cocoa requires a very unique and patient home, but if you are looking to change a hardship dog’s life, please consider adopting Cocoa.
You can sponsor any of the dogs in our Available Dogs gallery, either for yourself, or on behalf of someone else.
