Blue has just arrived so we are getting to know him better. He is very shy and fearful of new people, but we can see in his eyes that he really wants to bond and trust. He is around 1 year old–we think that he escaped from someone and was not able to find his way home. He does not know how to walk on a leash very well, but we will help him learn. Our dedicated volunteers are working with Blue to show him that people can be kind. We promised Blue that we will find him a fantastic home.
Blue is a rare blue shepherd, which means that his coloration has a gorgeous steel-blue cast to it. We are asking an adoption donation of $500 for Blue to help us with the medical costs of another dog, Snow, who has arrived in very poor condition.
