It’s hard to imagine a person so cold and heartless that they would dump helpless puppies by the side of a busy street, yet that’s exactly what happened with these sweet babies. Someone didn’t even bother to take them to an animal shelter where they would have food and water–they just tossed the pups away like trash.
Fortunately, a guardian angel by the name of David happened to drive by and see the babies peering out of their box. He screeched to a halt and jumped out of his car to save them! From there, this animal lover got the pups food, water, medical care and a warm place to sleep at his home until he could find a rescue group to take them in. Enter GSROC!
We believe that these babies are shepherd and labrador mixes, but it’s a little too soon to tell for sure. It is not likely that they are purebred but they definitely have shepherd markings!
Puppies are cute and fun, but they are also an enormous amount of work. Please think very hard before applying to adopt a puppy, as you will need to invest a significant amount of time and money in training and raising them properly. To arrange to meet the puppies, please complete the online application first and then contact Dforsyth@socal.rr.com for more details.
