Byron is a classic and strong black and silver male who had someone sustained a serious injury to his foot and leg, presumably from being hit by a car and left to die. Our vets operated on Byron’s hip to give him relief from the obvious pain that he was in. He walks with the slightest of limps, but he certainly isn’t slowed down!
Byron is a very impressive and intimidating shepherd but he has a big heart. He is the ultimate “ladies’ man” as he prefers female handlers over males. Byron is selective about the dogs that he likes (small dogs are out of the question) and his ideal home is with someone who is comfortable handling a large, confident shepherd. He would do very well wih a single woman looking for a protective companion, as once he falls in love, it’s for keeps.
