Leo looks like an overstuffed teddy bear and has the personality to match. You just want to sink your hands into his silky coat. He is very loving and grateful for any attention you give him. Leo’s paws are like big golden lion paws—the are enormous, but he’s a gentle giant. We expect him to fill out to be around 85 pounds, maybe more, when he’s full grown.
When he was an adorable little fluffy puppy he had no problem finding a home. Unfortunately his family didn’t see beyond his looks or the needs of a puppy. As he grew and did the normal things that puppies do, it landed him in a shelter at only 8 months old.
He quickly became a favorite of the shelter workers and they turned to us to find Leo a home that will give him the guidance to become the wonderful adult dog he is meant to be. They let us know that Leo would love his own pool to swim in. This youngster wants to please and will shine in an obedience class.
He loves dogs, kids and has been exposed to cats.
