This sweet girl became pregnant and suddenly was no longer wanted by her family. Dumped in a shelter, she gave birth to three puppies and waited patiently for her family to come and get her. Days went by and no one came for Penny.
GSROC heard of her plight and could not turn our back on this brave mom. Imagine being abandoned right before the holidays!
She and her babies are recuperating in a GSROC foster home. They will need vet assessments, vaccinations, rabies shots and spaying or neutering. As they have been in a shelter, they have been exposed to other viruses, so we will need to keep a very close eye on all of them.
