These two German Shepherds wandered into a local artist’s community last month. The residents fell in love but had to bring them to North Central Shelter in hopes an owner would step up. No one did. GSROC was contacted and told their sad story. Although we are currently stretched to the limit, one look at these 2 sad faces and we could not turn away.
We believe they may be father and son, or perhaps brothers?
The younger of the two, Jackson is extremely affectionate and sweet. We believe he is approximately 5 years old. The older one, Jasper is a bit shy at first but warms up. He is approximately 8-9 yrs old.
Both of these boys have lived a hard life. They have fly strike on their ears and are very thin. Our vet has examined them and started them on a special diet to increase their nutritional status.
They will need special supplements to improve their health along with additional testing to further assess their health. Please send your tax deductible pledge to GSROC.
