After failed attempts to capture this injured boy early in the day, one of our volunteers found him later in nearby bushes in so much pain that he was unable to move.
At the emergency vet, he was diagnosed with a fractured pelvis, and substantial bruising on his chest that caused a pneumothorax. Mosby had no collar or microchip, and there has been no one looking for him via signs, humane or social media sites.
It was Mosby’s lucky day when he was found by a rescuer who was able to secure him a special spot on the GSROC lifeboat! Mosby has had a very big surgery to relieve his pain, but he is still on crate rest. He needs pain meds and assistance with walks, and our volunteers do physical therapy with him every day.
Mosby is a good natured, friendly labrador who deserves a home of his own. Can you help by making a spot for this survivor in your home? Please submit an online application and then come to meet our funny fellow.
