Dalton is a spitfire! He is a busy, bouncy, nosy puppy who thinks that he is the center of the universe.

Dalton is out of his splint now and learning boundaries. His ideal home will be familiar with a bossy puppy. He loves to play with other dogs. Dalton is fearful of strangers at first, but quickly warms up once he knows that he is safe. We recommend a home with older children as he doesn’t care for bikes, skateboards or roller skates.

He is learning not to be frightened by motorcycles, skateboards and car backfires as he matures. He has become a dream to walk and the volunteers who look after him count him among the best behaved dogs.

Dalton is a diamond in the rough that just needs a little polish. Someone patient, gentle and with GSD experience is all it will take to get him on the path to success.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
