Pixie, Dixie and Donovan were in dire straits at a high-kill SoCAL shelter. Working with rescue partner Eddie's Heart, GSROC was able to scoop these babies up into our care.

Momma dog, Sabrina, landed in a very high-kill shelter with her 3 newborn puppies. A shelter is a horrible place for any dog, let alone a nursing mother and her fragile babies. Fortunately, GSROC was able to get momma and babies safely rescued with an assist from Eddie’s Heart rescue. Sabrina is doing well, decompressing after doing her motherly duties. We will update her profile as we get to know her better. Please check back!

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
